In Sri Lankan culture, it holds deep religious significance, often performed during temple festivals and personal pilgrimages to cultivate blessings, purify karma, and express reverence for the Dharma. This is a replica of an 18th-century artwork from the Dambulla cave temple, also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla - a World Heritage Site in Sri Lanka.
