An order will be considered a "gift" if the civil status, last name or first name of the order summary information is different from that of the delivery information. In this specific case, an order summary where the price of the items are not shown will be included in the package that is sent to the gift recipient.

Delivery
Enjoy complimentary worldwide shipping on all products.
Items greater than $5,000 will require White Glove delivery. White Glove delivery will cost an additional $500.
For furniture, a transportation fee of 6% of the retail subtotal of the order, excluding sales tax, and not to exceed $5,000, will be charged when your product is ready to ship.
It depends on where you are located and also what you ordered. All items for sale on the bymere.com e-boutique are made-to-order. Each artisan has a different timeframe for how long it takes to make their products. For more details about each individual artisan's timeframe please refer to our Shipping page.

Items purchased may only be shipped within the United States and Europe. Orders may not be shipped to PO boxes, APO/DPO/FPO addresses, Puerto Rico, freight forwarders, or to any address outside of the United States or Europe.
Orders ship in their entirety to the shipping address entered at the time of checkout. To ship to multiple addresses, please place a separate order for each delivery address.
A signature may be required upon receipt of your package.
White Glove delivery for items greater than $5000, and many products found in the bymere.com e-boutique collections "Objet d'art" and "Décor" will require a signature upon receipt.
Payment
You can only pay for your purchases with a credit or charge card: MasterCard®, Visa®, American Express®. Diners Club®, CarteBlanche®, JCB®, Discover® and China Union Pay®. You should enter your credit card or charge card number, its expiry date and its card verification number on the relevant page. Payments via Paypal® and Apple Pay® are accepted.
All the transactions made on the bymere.com website are secure. The padlock symbol next to the address bar of the page beginning with "https" indicates that you are in a secure setting. However, you should never consider the transmission of data by Internet to be 100% secure. Any information that you make available online can potentially be recuperated and used by third parties.
We accept international credit cards; however, when placing your order, you must enter the international billing address that is linked to your credit card.

Our featured products are created by hand and must meet strict quality criteria from selecting the natural materials to the production of the completed item. Additionally, some products in the collections "Objet d'art" and "Décor" are one-of-a-kind and will not be replenished. We invite you to visit the website frequently for new artisan collaborations and product offerings. You may also contact us to review available products and request personalized sourcing.
Size guide
Our designs are made true to size with a loose fit. We recommend ordering your usual size. For detailed measurements of a design, please visit the relevant product page. To request custom sizing contact us.
Care and repair
Our workshops are able to respond to numerous repair requests for Mere goods. We invite you to contact us to discuss having your good examined by us. We will then provide an estimate and waiting period for the planned repair.

Leather is a living material that evolves, changes color, softens, and becomes patinated over time. It should be protected and maintained with care. Please do not hesitate to visit the Maintenance and repair page for more information
Bespoke
We have several option for ordering a bespoke object.
For many products within the "Couture" collection, you have the option to include details for a custom-made insignia, such as a full name, part of a name, or initials. This is a refined detail that elevates the product uniqueness, and further enhances exclusivity and sentimental value.
For inquiries about products within the "Décor" collection, begin by providing us with a detailed explanation of what you would like. We will respond within a month with an agreement in principle, a price estimate, and the expected waiting period. Our team of designers will design this unique object for you. For a custom-fit garment, we suggest making an appointment with us to organize your measurements.
From the first communication to the final stages of production, we help you to choose the best measurements for your body shape, and adapt our designs to suit your preferences. Once you have made your choices, the garment will be handcrafted by an artisan in our workshop. It will be delivered to you within 2 to 4 months.

Some of our gemstones come with the option to purchase a GIA certificate, also known as a GIA Gemstone Report. This is an official document issued by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) that evaluates a gemstone’s quality and characteristics. The report provides details such as the gemstone's type, carat weight, cut, color, clarity, and any treatments it may have undergone to enhance its appearance. For colored gemstones like sapphires, rubies, and emeralds, the report may also include information on origin and whether the stone has been heat-treated or subjected to other modifications.
A GIA certificate is essential for ensuring a gemstone’s authenticity and provides an unbiased assessment of its quality. As one of the most reputable gemological laboratories in the world, GIA sets the industry standard for gemstone grading, making its certification highly trusted. Many jewelers and collectors rely on GIA certification for accurate valuation, and it can also help in the resale process. However, the report does not include a monetary appraisal, as it focuses solely on the gem’s characteristics and authenticity.
The cost of obtaining a GIA report varies based on the type, size, and specific characteristics of the gemstone. As of January 1, 2025, our fees for providing a standard Grading Report are as follows:
0.15 to 0.22 carats: $100
1.00 to 1.49 carats: $150
1.50 to 1.99 carats: $150
2.00 to 2.99 carats: $200
3.00 to 3.99 carats: $300
4.00 to 4.99 carats: $400
